This bone carving is a beautiful piece of Maori jewelry. This Maori necklace comes with a black wax cord. The koru staining adds colour and to the design impact. Supplied loose in a cellophane bag. Each piece is individually carved so variations in colour do occur.
The design represents two people whose lives have become twisted together so that they are now one. A couple bonded for life. The koru design below shows the future like the fern frond that unfurls to become beautiful leaves. Life is a progression, a journey that is made easier with a bond of love.
