The aim of this course is to inform the candidate on the different types of fires, triangle of fire, types of extinguishers, operation of extinguishers and the different techniques that are used to suppress the fire.
Unit standard 3271 Suppress fire with hand extinguishers and fixed hose reels - level 2, credits 1.
Refer to course FW1 for both Fire Extinguisher and Fire Warden Training
We recommend refresher training at least every two years.
