All Taylor's Eye Witness silicone utensils are made with LFGB grade food safe silicone. LFGB (Lebensmittel-, Bedarfsgegenstände-und Futtermittelgesetzbuch, or the “Foods, Consumer Goods and Foodstuffs Code”) refers to rigourous & strict product testing standards required for food contact materials in parts of the European Union. Products manufactured with LFGB grade silicone are made with the highest purity of natural raw materials and thus have no discernible odour and are certified as free from BPA, Lead, Phthalates, Mercury, PVC and Latex.

Unlike plastic or wooden tools, silicone utensils are heat resistant up to 260°C / 500°F and will not scorch or melt in contact with high heat. They are soft to touch making them ideal for use with non-stick pans and coated bakeware.
