If oil, diesel or another hydrocarbon spill and gets into a waterway, it needs to be contained, whether it's into a river, a lake, a harbour or an estuary, it needs to be retrieved. Controlco Sorbent Booms are your first line of defence. Polypropylene is packed into a tough outer mesh. This allows even the most viscose oil to be drawn right inside the boom - rather than just coating the outside.
Designed specifically for oil spills on water, these booms link together to form a fast, reliable barrier that will rapidly absorb oil and fuel, while floating in a marine environment.
The internal rope and clip system allow multiple lengths to be joined together to form a strong , effective barrier
Because they love oil and resist water, the booms will remain afloat for long periods of time, even when fully saturated
