The Taniwha of Matariki
In the days of old throughout Aotearoa, winter is a dark and difficult time for all. Even Marama the moon struggles. One evening her lament is heard by Tupu-a-nuku, a small star, who enlists her siblings help.
When the radiant sisters of Matariki first appear in the night-sky, they cause quite a stir. Obsessed with their beauty, seven taniwha brothers devise a cunning plan to capture the star maidens. But what happens when Marama comes to the rescue?
