Style 2091 consists of pure expanded flexible graphite extruded over a Stainless Steel wire core to form the yarn which is then used in braiding the packing. The finished braid is non-scoring.
Suitable in steam with high temperature/pressure combinations
Less scoring of the stem as the Stainless Steel wire is encapsulated
Superior sealing properties than expanded pure graphite rings
Good thermal conductivity
