Flameguard 3.5kg Carbon Dioxide Extinguisher (Each)

Highly pressures compressed liquid stored in the extinguisher. The gas disperses quickly, effective from one to two metres, expands and cools the surrounding air. Often causing dry ice to shoot out which may form around the nozzle. To avoid the fire re-igniting, continue to apply the co2 extinguisher even after the appears to be out. In accordance with NZS 4503:2005 a fire extinguisher is to be tested/inspected at least once every 12 months, or every 6 months if installed in a vehicle. At 5-year intervals from manufacture the fire extinguisher needs to be discharged, pressure tested, inspected, and recharged
Fire extinguishers in the Workplace must be tagged (NZS 4503:2005) and be part of the business Emergency Plan
Flameguard fire extinguishers are sold untagged
Easy to use, however, fire extinguisher training is recommended
