COLOUR REMOVER - JACQUARD (56.70g)

Revitalize your fabrics with Jacquard Colour Remover (56.70g)! This powerful color remover can efficiently eliminate unwanted dyes and stains from natural fabrics, rayon, and some nylons, giving them a fresh, clean slate. Unlike traditional bleach, Jacquard Colour Remover is formulated to work at high temperatures, effectively lifting colors without damaging the fibers when used correctly. Keep in mind that this product is not suitable for polyester and may also pose challenges for wool due to its heating requirements.

Please note that results can vary. When attempting to remove color, the material may not return to a pristine white; instead, a different shade may emerge. To achieve the best results, it is essential to test on a small area first.

This versatile product is also ideal for various discharge techniques, making it a staple for both crafters and professional fabric artists. For use, dissolve the color remover in hot water within an enamel or stainless steel pot. Using 3-5% by dry weight of the fabric, heat to a rolling boil at 185°F (85°C). Immerse your fabric and keep it agitated for 10 to 20 minutes or until the desired color is achieved. Afterward, simply wash with mild detergent in cool water.

Instructions
In an enamel or stainless steel pot dissolve Color Remover in enough hot water to cover fabric. Use 3-5% by dry weight of fabric. Heat to 185ĹźF/85ĹźC, add fabric and continue heating. Color Remover works best at a rolling boil. Keep fabric moving for 10 to 20 minutes or until color has left as desired. Wash with mild detergent in cool water.

Note: When removing color from fabric, remember all dyes behave differently. Results may vary. Always test first.
