Continuing our creative partnership with legendary artist and wargaming visionary John Blanche, these two new sets expand the grimdark spectrum with 20 brand-new colours developed in collaboration with John Blanche and our team of paint engineers.

 

With volumes III and IV, John Blanche and The Army Painter invite painters everywhere to explore a new spectrum of darkness. These two 10-colour sets, one warm and visceral, the other cold and spectral, reveal that within shadow there can be light, and within decay, vibrancy.

 

Each hue was developed with and approved by John himself, designed to complement the first two Masterclass sets while unlocking new creative depth across the worlds painters build. Together, they form a dual palette of fire and frost, vitality and ruin, warmth and shadow, the living contrast at the heart of grimdark.
