Ulster Weavers Tea Cosies:

Ulster Weavers tea cosies combine practical teapot insulation with the distinctive printed textiles the brand is known for. This collection includes traditional cotton tea cosies, muff-style tea cosies and shaped designs, with patterns ranging from florals and vintage tea tins to cats, dogs, ducks and woodland animals.

Traditional Cotton Tea Cosies:

The standard Ulster Weavers tea cosy fits over the teapot to help retain heat between pours. Designs in the collection include Willow Toile, Boho Floral, Feline Friends, Dog Days, Farmhouse Ducks and Forest Friends Sage.

Many styles use cotton outers with insulated wadding, while individual products vary in their exact materials and dimensions. The Forest Friends Sage tea cosy, for example, is made from a blend of 65% recycled cotton and 35% virgin cotton and measures 35 x 27cm. Other traditional designs are intended for teapots holding up to six cups.

Ulster Weavers Muff Tea Cosies:

Muff tea cosies offer a different fit. Rather than covering the whole pot, the muff design wraps around the base, body and shoulder while leaving the handle and spout exposed. Selected 23 x 26 x 18cm styles are designed around a 6-cup teapot and feature a flat base, decorative piping and ties around the lid.

The range includes Tea Tins, Cottage Garden, Finch & Flower, Hound Dog and Farmhouse Ducks muff designs. These are particularly useful if you prefer to leave the teapot handle accessible while the cosy remains in place.

Decorative & Shaped Tea Cosies:

Ulster Weavers' detailed prints make these tea cosies as decorative as they are functional. Alongside floral, animal and countryside-inspired patterns, the collection includes a distinctive Scotty Dog shaped tea cosy. This larger 40 x 34cm design has a 100% cotton outer with polyester wadding.

Choosing the Right Ulster Weavers Tea Cosy:

Check your teapot's height, width and capacity against the dimensions listed for each design. Choose a traditional cover if you want the pot enclosed, or a muff tea cosy if easy access to the handle and spout is important.
