Teng Flare Nut Wrenches for Automotive & Hydraulic Work:

Teng flare nut wrenches are designed for working on flare nuts and pipe fittings where a conventional ring spanner cannot pass over the connected tube. This collection is strongly focused on Teng Tools double-ended flare nut wrenches, with metric and imperial sizes represented for automotive, hydraulic, mechanical and plumbing applications.

Metric & Imperial Teng Flare Nut Wrenches:

The Teng range includes metric flare nut wrench sizes such as 10 x 11mm, 12 x 13mm, 13 x 14mm, 16 x 17mm and 19 x 22mm. An imperial 7/16 x 1/2-inch option is also represented. Each double-ended design provides two wrench sizes in a single hand tool, making it easier to cover different fittings without changing to an entirely separate spanner.

The openings are designed to fit over pipework while providing greater contact around a flare nut than a standard open-ended wrench. This makes them particularly relevant for brake lines, hydraulic systems on vehicles and machinery, and water pipe connections such as household radiators.

Chrome Vanadium Flare Nut Spanners:

Teng flare nut wrenches in the collection are manufactured from chrome vanadium steel with a satin finish. The open ends are offset by 15 degrees to improve access and positioning during use. Selected products are manufactured to DIN standards, with specifications varying between listings.

The collection also contains a six-piece GearWrench metric flare nut wrench set and a specialist Toledo adjustable wheel lock nut wrench, extending the range beyond the individual Teng spanners.

Choosing the Right Flare Nut Wrench:

Start by identifying the exact size of the flare nut or fitting. Choose from the metric Teng sizes for corresponding millimetre fittings or the 7/16 x 1/2-inch wrench where an imperial size is required.

For brake, hydraulic or pipe connections, a dedicated flare nut wrench is preferable when you need a wrench that can pass over the tube while engaging more of the fitting. If several metric sizes are regularly required, the multi-piece flare nut wrench set provides an alternative to selecting individual tools.
