Silicone Sealants for Bathrooms, Roofing, Plumbing & General Sealing:

Silicone sealants provide flexible, waterproof sealing for a wide variety of building, maintenance and specialist applications. The Smartfox range includes bathroom and wet-area silicone, roof and gutter sealants, roofing and plumbing silicone, glass and ceramic sealants, general-purpose neutral cure products, marine silicone, high-temperature sealant and food-grade formulations. Brands represented include Sika, ADOS, Bostik, Selleys Autofix and Truper.

Bathroom & Wet Area Silicone Sealants:

Wet-area silicone forms a substantial part of the collection, with white, translucent, black, charcoal and several grey shades represented. Options include Sikasil bathroom and wet-area sealants alongside Truper bathroom silicone in both cartridge and smaller tube formats.

Selected bathroom silicones are neutral cure formulations designed to create watertight seals around materials such as ceramics, acrylic plastics and whiteware fittings. Sikasil NG Bathroom Silicone also contains mould repellent and is designed for long-term performance in high-humidity wet areas.

Roof, Gutter & Plumbing Silicone:

For exterior sealing, the collection includes dedicated roof and gutter silicone in clear, translucent, black and grey, plus Sikasil roofing and plumbing formulations. These application-specific sealants provide alternatives to general-purpose silicone when working on roofing, guttering or plumbing projects.

General, Specialist & Food-Grade Silicone:

General-purpose options include neutral cure silicone sealants and Bostik RTV silicone, while Sikasil RTV products are specifically represented for glass and ceramic applications. The collection also includes Sikaflex MS modified silicone sealants in white, grey, ivory and black.

More specialised requirements are covered by Selleys Autofix Marine Silicone, which cures to a flexible waterproof seal and is resistant to salt spray, vibration and UV exposure, and Truper high-temperature black silicone rated to 250°C.

ADOS food-grade silicone sealants provide another specialist category. These neutral cure products are formulated for food, pharmaceutical and other clean environments, with options in translucent, white and Titania.

Choosing the Right Silicone Sealant:

Select silicone according to the application rather than colour alone. Use a dedicated wet-area product for bathrooms, a roof and gutter or plumbing formulation for relevant exterior work, and specialist marine, high-temperature, glass and ceramic, or food-grade silicone where those properties are required. Then choose the appropriate colour and pack size for the job.
