Scanpan Sauté Pans for Searing, Simmering & One-Pan Cooking:

Scanpan sauté pans combine a broad cooking surface with higher sides, providing versatile cookware for sautéing, searing, frying and simmering. This collection includes 14 Scanpan sauté and deep sauté pans from 26cm to 32cm, spanning the Classic, Classic Induction, Nura, Clad 5, Axis, Coppernox, CS+, HaptIQ, Maitre’ D and Pro IQ ranges.

Non-Stick Scanpan Sauté Pans:

Non-stick options include several distinct Scanpan constructions. Classic sauté pans provide Scanpan’s established non-stick cooking format, with standard and deep 26cm models as well as a larger 32cm Ceramic Titanium option.

Classic Induction adds induction compatibility, with the 28cm/3L model made in Denmark from recycled aluminium and finished with a Stratanium non-stick surface. For shoppers specifically seeking PFAS-free cookware, the collection includes the Nura 26cm/3.7L deep sauté pan.

Premium HaptIQ and CS+ pans use Stratanium+ non-stick technology. HaptIQ combines its cooking surface with five-ply stainless steel and recycled aluminium construction, while CS+ uses five-layer clad aluminium with a stainless steel exterior.

Stainless Steel & Copper-Core Sauté Pans:

For those who prefer stainless steel cooking surfaces, the Scanpan Clad 5 30cm sauté pan uses five-layer construction with an 18/10 stainless steel interior. The STS-style 28cm option provides a 4L capacity in 304 stainless steel.

Copper also features in several ranges. Axis sauté pans use five-layer/three-ply construction with a copper core and stainless steel body, while Coppernox provides another copper-enhanced alternative. The 26cm Maitre’ D combines a copper exterior, aluminium core and 18/10 stainless steel interior.

Choosing a Scanpan Sauté Pan:

Size, depth and cooking surface are the main considerations. A 26cm pan is suited to smaller quantities, with deep 3.7L versions providing extra capacity for saucier dishes. The 28–30cm pans offer more cooking area, while 32cm options suit larger meals.

If induction compatibility is essential, check the individual model specifications. Several ranges, including Classic Induction, Axis, Clad 5, HaptIQ, CS+, Maitre’ D and Pro IQ, include induction-compatible designs.
