Scanpan Knife Blocks & Knife Block Sets:

Scanpan knife blocks combine organised benchtop storage with practical kitchen knife selections for everyday food preparation. This collection includes standalone Scanpan Spectrum knife blocks and complete knife block sets ranging from compact 4- and 5-piece configurations through to comprehensive 8-, 9- and 10-piece sets. Key ranges include Scanpan Classic, Classic Steel, Spectrum, Microsharp, Kalo, Eclipse, Asian and Sax.

Scanpan Classic & Classic Steel Knife Sets:

The Classic and Classic Steel ranges form a substantial part of the collection. Selected Classic Steel knives are crafted from German stainless steel and feature taper-ground cutting edges, ergonomic handles and balanced construction. Sets cover essential preparation tasks with combinations of paring, vegetable, utility, Santoku, chef’s, bread and carving knives.

Larger sets add useful kitchen tools. The Scanpan Classic 10-piece block, for example, includes vegetable, tomato and cheese, utility, bread, chef’s and carving knives alongside a carving fork, sharpening steel and kitchen shears, housed in a beechwood block.

Compact & Specialist Knife Block Sets:

For a smaller footprint, the Scanpan Microsharp 6-piece set combines German stainless steel paring, utility, bread, cook’s and carving knives in a wooden block. Spectrum 5-piece sets use hollow-ground high-carbon stainless steel blades with textured polypropylene handles, with black and coloured versions represented.

The collection also includes the Classic Asian 5-piece knife block set, with knives suited to slicing, chopping and precision preparation, plus Kalo and Eclipse sets in several configurations.

Knife Blocks with Sharpening Features:

Sharpening is built into selected options. The Scanpan Sax Acacia 6-piece set combines its knives with an acacia wood storage block and integrated sharpener, while other larger sets include a separate sharpening steel.

Choosing a Scanpan Knife Block:

Consider which knives you actually use most often. A compact 4- to 6-piece set covers core preparation needs without taking up as much bench space, while larger 7- to 10-piece sets add more specialised knives and accessories. Also compare block material, blade construction and sharpening features. If you already own suitable knives, standalone Scanpan Spectrum blocks provide storage without requiring another complete knife set.
