Sauté Pans for Searing, Simmering & One-Pan Cooking:

Sauté pans combine a wide, flat cooking surface with higher straight sides, making them useful for everything from browning and frying to simmering sauces and preparing larger one-pan meals. This collection includes 32 sauté pans from Scanpan, Pyrolux, GreenPan, Chasseur, BergHOFF, Joseph Joseph, Zyliss, Di Antonio, Force Cookware and Pams, with sizes from 24cm to 32cm and capacities extending to 7 litres.

Non-Stick & PFAS-Free Sauté Pans:

Non-stick cookware forms an important part of the range. Scanpan options include Classic, Classic Induction, HaptIQ, Pro IQ and Nura, with both standard and deep sauté pans represented. The Classic Induction 28cm/3L pan uses recycled aluminium with a Stratanium non-stick surface and is suitable for induction cooking.

The collection also includes PFAS-free choices from GreenPan, Zyliss and Scanpan Nura. GreenPan Padova sauté pans are available in aluminium and stainless steel constructions, while the Zyliss Ultimate Pro provides a 28cm covered option.

Stainless Steel, Copper & Aluminium Sauté Pans:

For shoppers who prefer uncoated cookware, Scanpan STS uses 304 stainless steel, while Clad 5 features five-layer construction with an 18/10 stainless steel cooking surface. Scanpan Axis combines stainless steel construction with a copper core, and Coppernox provides another copper-enhanced option.

Chasseur adds several distinctive choices, including Maison stainless steel, Escoffier induction cookware and the Le Cuivre 28cm sauté pan. The collection also includes straightforward aluminium sauté pans and larger commercial-style Force Cookware models.

Covered & Deep Sauté Pans:

Many pans include lids, allowing the same cookware to move from sautéing and searing to slower simmering. Deep designs include 26cm/3.7L Scanpan Nura and HaptIQ models, while Force Cookware extends to a 30cm/7L covered sauté pan. Helper handles are also featured on selected Chasseur, Pyrolux and larger Scanpan designs.

Choosing the Right Sauté Pan:

Consider diameter, depth and cooking surface together. A 24–26cm pan suits smaller meals, while 28–32cm models provide more room for browning ingredients without crowding. Choose a deeper or higher-capacity pan for dishes involving sauces or larger quantities. If you cook on induction, check the individual specifications, as compatibility varies across the collection.
