Safety Helmets, Hard Hats & Head Protection:

Safety helmets provide essential head protection for construction, industrial and other hazardous work environments. This collection focuses on 3M safety helmets, including SecureFit X5000 models and traditional ABS hard hats, together with selected helmet accessories and mandatory safety signage.

3M SecureFit X5000 Safety Helmets:

The 3M SecureFit X5000 range features a climbing helmet-inspired, brimless design intended for working at heights and industrial applications. Both vented and non-vented models are represented, with vented helmets available in several colours including white, green, red, black, orange and blue.

SecureFit X5000 helmets use a six-point ratchet suspension incorporating 3M Pressure Diffusion Technology and offer 15 adjustment settings for fit. They are supplied with a four-point chinstrap, while selected X5000 configurations allow the wearer to switch the chinstrap system between EN 12492 and EN 397 requirements.

The range also features 3M's UVicator sensor, which changes colour as an indication of UV exposure, and compatibility with selected 3M faceshields, earmuffs and accessories.

ABS Safety Helmets & Hard Hats:

For conventional industrial head protection, the collection includes 3M HH40 and HC600V ABS safety helmets. The HH40 is a white, non-vented Type 1 helmet featuring a 50mm full brim, six-point webbing harness and adjustable headband. Its listed applications include construction, mining, transport, forestry and heavy engineering.

Safety Helmet Accessories & Workplace Signs:

Supporting products include the 3M P3E visor adapter, designed for fitting a visor to compatible helmets with 30mm accessory slots, and an APEX safety helmet bag.

The collection also contains mandatory “Safety Helmet Must Be Worn” signs in several formats and dimensions, including 180 x 250mm, 225 x 300mm, 240 x 340mm, 300 x 450mm and 450 x 600mm.

Choosing the Right Safety Helmet:

Start by considering the work environment and required safety standard. Compare vented and non-vented designs, brimless and full-brim styles, chinstrap requirements and compatibility with hearing or face protection. Always check the individual helmet specifications and applicable certification against the requirements of the workplace and task.
