Resin Cloth Sanding & Linishing Belts:

Resin cloth belts in this collection are abrasive sanding and linishing belts designed for metal and wood applications. The range is centred on aluminium oxide resin cloth belts in multiple widths, lengths and grit grades, with a zirconia option for more demanding metalwork. Sizes span compact 50mm-wide belts through to larger 100mm and 150mm formats, providing options for different compatible sanding and linishing machines.

Aluminium Oxide Resin Cloth Belts:

Most of the collection consists of S&G RBX aluminium oxide linishing belts. These use aluminium oxide abrasive grain on durable X-weight cloth backing and are suitable for sanding both metal and wood.

The range includes belt dimensions such as 50 x 915mm, 50 x 1220mm and 50 x 2745mm, along with wider 100 x 915mm, 100 x 1525mm and 100 x 2745mm formats. Larger 150 x 1220mm aluminium oxide belts are also represented, including Norton options.

40, 60, 80, 100 & 120 Grit Belts:

Available abrasive grades extend from coarse 40 grit through 60 and 80 grit to finer 100 and 120 grit options. This allows the belt to be selected according to the sanding stage and required level of material removal or surface refinement.

Not every size is offered in every grit, so both belt dimensions and abrasive grade should be checked when choosing a replacement.

Zirconia Resin Cloth Belts for Metal:

The collection also includes a 150 x 1220mm 60-grit zirconia resin cloth belt. This uses self-sharpening zirconia alumina abrasive and is intended for stainless steel, metal and heat-sensitive steels. Its open grain distribution helps reduce clogging and supports cooler cutting in higher-performance applications.

Start by matching the exact width and length required by your sanding or linishing machine. Once the dimensions are confirmed, select the grit according to the task and material. Aluminium oxide provides versatile options for wood and metal, while the zirconia belt is specifically suited to more demanding metal and stainless-steel applications.
