FolkArt makes up the largest part of the range, with metallic acrylic paint available in 59ml and selected 236ml bottles. Colours extend well beyond traditional gold and silver, with options including Antique Gold, Pure Gold, Rose Gold, Solid Bronze, Antique Copper, Gunmetal Gray, Pearl White, Champagne, Aquamarine, Emerald Green, Plum, Peridot and Rose Shimmer.

These water-based acrylic paints have a creamy consistency and dry to a shiny metallic finish. They can be used on surfaces such as wood, paper, canvas, polystyrene and papier-mâché, making them suitable for painting, stencilling, craft work and decorative DIY projects. The FolkArt formula is also self-sealing and can be cleaned from brushes and tools with soap and water while wet.

For projects requiring more paint, the collection includes larger metallic acrylic formats. Selected FolkArt colours such as Silver, Rose Gold, Pure Gold and Antique Gold are available in 236ml bottles, while S.A. metallic gold paint comes in a 500ml format. The S.A. student acrylic is rapid drying, non-toxic and permanent when dry.

Metallic Watercolour Paints:

For watercolour painting and mixed-media work, the range also includes a Winsor & Newton Cotman Metallic Watercolour set containing six 8ml tubes. The palette combines Iridescent Blue, Yellow Gold, Bronze, Red Copper, Silver and Pewter, providing metallic highlights that can be layered and blended into watercolour artwork.
