Gentle Leader Dog Harnesses

Gentle Leader Dog Harnesses NZ – Easy Walk No-Pull Harnesses:

The Gentle Leader Easy Walk dog harness is designed for owners who want better control when walking dogs that pull on the lead. At Smartfox NZ, our Gentle Leader dog harness collection focuses on the Easy Walk front-attachment design, available in black, blue and red, with sizes ranging from extra small (XS) to extra large (XL).

Unlike traditional back-attachment harnesses, the Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness connects the lead at the front of the chest, helping redirect your dog's forward movement when pulling.

Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness for Pulling Dogs:

The Easy Walk Harness features a front lead attachment with a Martingale chest loop. This design helps reduce pulling by gently redirecting forward movement rather than allowing the dog to continue pulling directly against the lead.

The chest loop also helps reduce gaping, making the harness a useful option for owners working on loose-lead walking and improving control during everyday outings.

Its design makes it particularly relevant for dogs that tend to pull ahead during walks, although consistent training remains important for developing better lead manners.

Adjustable Nylon Dog Harnesses:

Gentle Leader harnesses are constructed from soft nylon and feature four adjustment points to help achieve a suitable fit around your dog's body.

Two quick-snap buckles, positioned at the shoulder and belly, make the harness easier to put on and remove. The contrasting belly strap also helps distinguish the top from the underside when fitting.

These practical features make the Easy Walk design suitable for regular walking and lead training.

Gentle Leader Harness Sizes and Colours:

Our collection includes five sizes, depending on the colour selected:

XS – 30–40cm, suited to toy breeds Small, Medium and Large – for progressively larger chest measurements XL – 86–117cm, designed for giant breeds

The main colour options are black, blue and red, allowing you to choose a preferred style without changing the harness's core design.

How to Choose the Right Gentle Leader Harness:

Before purchasing a Gentle Leader no-pull dog harness, measure your dog's chest circumference and compare it with the measurements shown on the individual product page.

Select a size that allows the harness to sit securely without excessive tightness, slipping or rubbing. Adjust the straps carefully and ensure the front chest section sits correctly before attaching the lead.
