Fruit Curd for Baking, Desserts & Spreads:

Fruit curd is a smooth, creamy ingredient with a rich texture and bright fruit flavour, suited to both everyday serving and baking. This collection focuses on lemon, lime and passionfruit curds from Barker’s and Anathoth, with sizes ranging from 350g and 420g jars through to 1.25kg, 5kg and 19kg catering formats.

Lemon Curd:

Lemon curd makes up the largest part of the collection, with options from both Barker’s and Anathoth. Barker’s lemon curd is available in a 350g New Zealand-made jar for home use, as well as larger 1.25kg, 5kg and 19kg formats suited to frequent baking and food preparation.

Anathoth Lemon Curd comes in a 420g jar and is New Zealand made. Its ingredients include lemon juice, whole lemon, New Zealand whole egg and New Zealand butter, giving it the traditional combination of citrus, egg and butter associated with fruit curd.

Lime & Passionfruit Curd:

For a different citrus profile, Barker’s Lime Fruit Curd is available in a 1.25kg format. It is a soft, creamy traditional curd made with real fruit, eggs and butter and is gluten free.

Barker’s Passionfruit Fruit Curd is also represented in 1.25kg packs. Made with real passionfruit, eggs and butter, it provides a tropical alternative to lemon and lime curd while retaining the same smooth, creamy style.

Fruit Curd for Baking & Desserts:

The larger Barker’s fruit curds are particularly suited to baking and dessert preparation. Suggested uses across the range include tartlets, eclairs, choux pastry, meringue pies, muffins, friands and mousse. Lemon curd can also be used as a spread on toast or incorporated into desserts and other recipes.

Choosing the Right Fruit Curd:

Choose lemon curd for a classic citrus flavour, lime curd for a sharper variation, or passionfruit curd for a more tropical profile. Smaller jars suit occasional home use, while the 1.25kg, 5kg and 19kg formats are more practical for regular baking, catering and larger-scale dessert preparation.
