Fishing Supplies for Angling, Berleying & Catch Preparation:

The Smartfox fishing supplies range focuses on practical Anglers Mate gear for shore and boat fishing, berleying, crayfishing, tackle organisation and preparing your catch. The collection includes rod spikes, tackle boxes, waders, berley equipment, nets, gaffs, fish preparation tools and a folding crayfish pot, covering several important parts of a day on the water.

Fishing Tackle, Rod Spikes & Catch Equipment:

For surf and shore fishing, galvanised rod spikes are available in 800mm and 1200mm lengths. Anglers Mate tackle boxes come in one, two and three-tray configurations, giving you different levels of storage for organising fishing tackle and accessories.

Catch and bait-handling equipment includes an Iki spike, bait knife with sheath, 600mm alloy gaff and a multi-purpose net designed for kids, butterflies or live bait.

Berley Supplies & Crayfishing Gear:

The collection includes several options for anglers using berley. Choose from 3kg berley pellets, a mesh berley bag or a plastic berley cage kit supplied with pellets. The 34 x 14cm plastic cage can be used with either frozen or dry berley. A 500ml bottle of Anglers Mate fish oil provides another option for use as a fish attractant.

For crayfishing, the round Anglers Mate crayfish pot complies with New Zealand requirements for escape hatches and entry points. It has a 740mm bottom ring and 630mm top ring, and folds flat for storage.

Filleting & Fish Preparation Tools:

Fish preparation products include a fish scaler and 12-inch diamond sharpening steel. The Anglers Mate filleting set combines a 630 x 170 x 7mm cutting board with a serrated stainless steel fish clamp, 6-inch stainless steel fillet knife and stainless steel fish descaler.

Fishing Waders:

Anglers Mate waders are designed for angling and other water-based activities such as boat launching, floundering and netting. The collection includes medium 8–10 and extra-large 12–13 boot sizes.

When selecting fishing gear, consider where you fish and which stage of the trip you are equipping for—from securing rods and organising tackle to berleying, landing fish and preparing your catch.
