Fabriano Artistico

Fabriano Artistico – Watercolour Paper, Pads, Blocks and Rolls:

Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper is designed for artists working with watercolour and other water-based painting techniques. The Smartfox NZ collection features Fabriano Artistico Enhanced watercolour paper in hot pressed, cold pressed and rough textures, with weights of 200gsm, 300gsm and 640gsm. Choose from watercolour pads, 20-sheet blocks, individual large-format sheets and paper rolls, including Traditional White and Extra White options.

Fabriano Artistico Hot Pressed Watercolour Paper:

Hot pressed watercolour paper has a smoother surface, making it suitable for detailed painting, fine brushwork and artwork requiring precise lines.

The collection includes Fabriano Artistico Enhanced 300gsm hot press pads in A2, A3 and A4 sizes, alongside 300gsm watercolour blocks in Traditional White and Extra White.

A heavier 640gsm Traditional White hot pressed sheet measuring 56 x 76cm is also represented.

Fabriano Artistico Cold Pressed Watercolour Paper:

Cold pressed watercolour paper provides a lightly textured surface that offers a balance between smooth application and visible paper texture.

The range includes 200gsm cold press pads in A5, A4 and A3 sizes, along with 300gsm pads in A2 and A3.

For artists who prefer working with a watercolour block, 300gsm cold pressed options are represented in Traditional White and Extra White.

Fabriano Artistico Rough Watercolour Paper:

Rough watercolour paper has a more pronounced surface texture, allowing pigment to interact with the paper's raised areas and recesses.

The collection includes 200gsm rough pads in A4 and A3 sizes, plus 300gsm rough pads in A2 and A3.

Fabriano Artistico Enhanced 300gsm rough watercolour blocks are also available in Traditional White and Extra White, with 20 sheets per block.

Watercolour Pads, Blocks and Large Paper Rolls:

Fabriano Artistico pads contain 12 sheets, making them suitable for individual paintings, studies and watercolour practice.

The 300gsm watercolour blocks contain 20 sheets and provide an alternative format for artists who prefer working from a bound block.

For larger artwork, the collection includes 300gsm watercolour paper rolls measuring 140cm wide by 10 metres long, including Traditional White.

Choosing the Right Fabriano Artistico Paper:

Consider surface texture, paper weight, colour and format when selecting watercolour paper.

Choose hot pressed paper for smooth, detailed work, cold pressed for a versatile textured surface, or rough paper for more pronounced texture.

The 200gsm range provides a lighter option, while 300gsm offers greater paper weight for watercolour applications. The 640gsm sheet provides a substantially heavier surface.

Compare Traditional White and Extra White according to your preferred paper tone, and check individual product dimensions and sheet quantities before selecting your Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper.
