Dog Life Jackets

Dog Life Jackets NZ – EzyDog Floatation Vests for Swimming and Boating:

A properly fitted dog life jacket provides additional buoyancy and support during swimming, boating and other activities around water. At Smartfox NZ, our collection focuses on EzyDog dog life jackets, including the DFD X2 Boost, original Dog Floatation Device (DFD) and Micro DFD designs.

The range includes yellow, red and pink options, with sizes from XXS through to XL to accommodate dogs of different builds.

EzyDog DFD X2 Boost Life Jackets:

The EzyDog DFD X2 Boost is a newer-generation dog floatation vest featuring a streamlined, ergonomic design and evenly distributed buoyancy.

Foam extends beneath the dog's belly for additional flotation support, while the adjustable top-pull collar provides buoyancy around the neck and head.

Constructed from durable 1680-denier nylon, the X2 Boost features reflective piping, a strong D-ring and a grab handle for assisting dogs in and out of the water.

The collection includes yellow X2 Boost jackets in XS, Small, Medium, Large and XL, alongside selected pink sizes.

EzyDog DFD and Micro Life Jackets:

The original EzyDog DFD offers an alternative design that supports natural swimming movement. Its ergonomic grab handle and strong D-ring provide practical features for handling dogs around water.

For smaller breeds, the EzyDog Micro DFD is designed for dogs weighing under 7kg. The collection includes red XXS and XS options, with a compact design and adjustable fit.

These smaller dog swimming vests are particularly relevant for owners who need flotation support without choosing a jacket designed for larger dogs.

Choosing the Right Dog Life Jacket Size:

Dog life jacket sizing depends on chest girth, body length and weight.

For example, the Micro DFD XXS accommodates a girth of 26–42cm and body length of 22–30cm, while the XS Micro design fits a girth of 30–50cm and length of 26–35cm.

The original Large DFD is specified for dogs weighing approximately 27–41kg, with a chest girth of 69–111cm.

Always compare your dog's measurements with the individual product sizing guide, as dimensions differ between EzyDog designs.

Dog Life Jackets for Water Activities:

Whether your dog accompanies you on a boat, enjoys supervised swimming or is learning to feel comfortable in the water, the correct flotation vest can provide additional support.

A dog life jacket does not replace close supervision around water.
