Cut-Off Discs for Metal, Stainless Steel & Masonry

Cut-off discs in this collection cover a broad range of abrasive cutting applications, from stainless steel and mild steel through to masonry, multi-material cutting and specialist rail work. The range includes thin and ultra-thin cutting wheels, INOX discs, masonry discs, stationary cut-off wheels and X-Lock options from brands including Flexovit, Makita, Sun-Flex and Sia Abrasives.

Metal & Stainless Steel Cut-Off Discs

Metal cutting makes up a substantial part of the range. Disc diameters include compact 100mm and 115mm options, widely represented 125mm discs, and larger 180mm and 230mm formats. Thin cutting widths such as 1mm, 1.2mm and 1.6mm are available across selected products.

INOX cut-off discs provide options specifically suited to stainless steel, with selected products also specified for mild steel, heat-sensitive steels and cast iron. Makita metal cutting wheels use WA60 aluminium oxide and feature a narrow cutting width, while Flexovit and Sun-Flex provide additional metal and stainless-steel choices.

Masonry, Multi-Material & Specialist Cutting Wheels

The collection extends beyond metal with dedicated masonry cutting discs, including 100mm Flexovit and 125mm Makita options. Multi-material 125 x 1 x 22mm cutting discs are also represented, including an X-Lock version for compatible tools.

For specialised equipment, larger stationary cut-off wheels include 300mm and 355mm sizes. The range also includes a 356mm Flexovit Type 41 rail cut-off wheel designed for rail cutting with compatible petrol and pneumatic power saws.

Choosing the Right Cut-Off Disc

Start by matching the disc diameter and bore size to your cutting tool. Then check the material being cut and select a disc specifically rated for that application. Thickness is another important consideration, particularly when comparing standard, thin and ultra-thin cutting wheels.

Also check the product’s maximum RPM and mounting system before use. Standard bore and X-Lock discs are both represented in this collection and require compatible equipment. Individual discs are available alongside selected multi-packs, including packs of 10, 25 and 100 for higher-volume cutting requirements.
