Crepe Pans for Thin Crepes, Pancakes & More:

A dedicated crepe pan gives you a wide, shallow cooking surface that makes it easier to spread batter, reach the edges and turn delicate crepes. This collection includes crepe pans from Pyrolux, Chasseur, Flonal Cookware, Cuisinart and Scanpan, with sizes from 18cm to 30cm and a choice of blue steel, cast iron and aluminium constructions.

Blue Steel Crepe Pans:

Pyrolux Industry blue steel crepe pans are available in several sizes, including 18cm, 22cm and 26cm. Blue steel is an excellent heat conductor and is designed to withstand high cooking temperatures. These pans develop a natural seasoning with use, gradually creating a virtually non-stick cooking surface. They feature riveted handles, are metal-utensil safe once well seasoned and are suitable for induction and other heat sources.

Non-Stick Aluminium Crepe Pans:

For easy food release, the range includes several coated aluminium options. The 24cm Pyrolux Ignite uses a three-layer non-stick coating, aluminium construction and cool-touch riveted handle. It is suitable for all cooktops including induction and can also be used in the oven up to 200°C.

The Cuisinart 26cm crepe pan combines hard-anodised aluminium with a Whitford Quantanium non-stick coating and stainless steel cast handle, while Flonal’s 28cm Dura Induction model uses thick forged aluminium with a non-stick cooking surface and induction-compatible base.

Cast Iron & Scanpan Crepe Pans:

For shoppers who prefer cast iron, the 30cm Chasseur crepe pan is hand cast and enamelled in France. Its cast iron construction provides strong heat retention and distribution, works on induction and other cooktops, and can be used in the oven up to 250°C.

Scanpan Classic offers a 25cm non-stick crepe pan made in Denmark from recycled squeeze-cast aluminium. It is oven safe up to 260°C and suitable for most cooktops, although not induction.

Choosing a Crepe Pan:

Choose blue steel if you prefer cookware that develops a seasoned surface over time, coated aluminium for convenient non-stick cooking, or cast iron when heat retention is a priority. Also check pan diameter and cooktop compatibility, particularly if you use induction.
