Colgate Mouthwash

Colgate Mouthwash for Fresh Breath, Plaque Control & Whitening:

The Colgate mouthwash range includes antibacterial oral rinses, alcohol-free mouthwash, whitening mouthwash and specialist oral cleansers. The collection is centred on Colgate Plax, Colgate Total, Optic White and Peroxyl, with bottle sizes from 236ml and 250ml through to 500ml and larger 1L value packs.

Colgate Plax Antibacterial Mouthwash:

Colgate Plax makes up the largest part of the range, with flavours including Gentle Mint, Fresh Mint, Spearmint, Peppermint and Fresh Tea. Most are available in 500ml bottles, alongside a compact 250ml Fresh Mint option and 1L value packs in Fresh Mint and Peppermint.

Selected Plax formulas are alcohol free and are designed to complement brushing and flossing by helping control bacteria and plaque while freshening breath. The Gentle Mint formula, for example, provides antibacterial action and is designed for twice-daily rinsing.

Colgate Total Mouthwash:

Colgate Total Clean Mint Antibacterial Mouthwash is available in a 500ml alcohol-free formula. It is designed to reduce bacteria associated with plaque, tartar build-up and bad breath, while providing a clean mint flavour.

Whitening Mouthwash:

For shoppers specifically looking for Colgate whitening mouthwash, the collection includes Colgate Optic White Teeth Whitening Stain Defence in a 500ml bottle. This alcohol-free mouthwash uses optic brightener technology and is designed to provide an immediate colour-correcting appearance while helping defend against stains with regular use.

The collection also includes Colgate 2 in 1 Whitening Liquid Gel, which is used like toothpaste but combines tooth cleaning with the breath-freshening qualities of mouthwash.

Colgate Peroxyl Oral Rinse:

Colgate Peroxyl is a more specialised oral hygiene rinse containing 1.5% hydrogen peroxide. The 236ml mild mint formula is alcohol free and uses an oxygenating cleansing action that releases oxygen on contact with mouth tissue.

Choosing the Right Colgate Mouthwash:

For everyday antibacterial rinsing and breath freshening, consider Colgate Plax or Total. Optic White is aimed at whitening and stain defence, while Peroxyl provides a different oxygenating oral-cleansing formula. Bottle size and flavour also vary, so compare these alongside the specific oral-care purpose.
