Bread bins provide dedicated countertop storage for loaves, rolls and other baked goods, and this collection includes several distinctly different designs from Avanti, Emile Henry, Typhoon and Rockingham. Choose from retro steel bread bins, stainless steel roll-top models, ceramic bread boxes and designs incorporating bamboo or acacia wood details.

Avanti Bread Bins:

Avanti makes up a key part of the range. The large Retro Bread Bin is available in black and white, with a powder-coated steel construction, hinged lid, ventilation holes and front viewing window. At 42 x 22.5 x 16cm, it is designed to accommodate a large loaf with additional space for items such as rolls, croissants, crumpets and muffins.

For a more contemporary finish, Avanti roll-top bread bins include stainless steel and frosted designs. The stainless steel model measures 39 x 27.5 x 18.5cm and combines a satin finish with acacia wood handles, ventilation holes and a smooth-gliding roll-top lid. The roll-top format is particularly useful where overhead cupboard space makes a lifting lid less convenient.

Ceramic, Metal & Multi-Purpose Bread Boxes:

Emile Henry bread boxes offer a different construction, pairing a glazed ceramic base with an oiled bamboo lid. The 6.8L design measures 35.5 x 24.5 x 15.8cm, and the reversible grooved lid can also be used as a bread cutting surface to help contain crumbs. Colour choices in this collection include Burgundy and Clay.

The Rockingham bread box combines powder-coated galvanised steel with a bamboo lid in a neutral grey-green finish with gold lettering. Typhoon's green Oben bread bin adds another format, combining 7.5L bread storage with a serrated knife.

Choosing a Bread Bin:

Measure your available bench space and consider how the lid opens before choosing. Hinged designs need clearance above, while roll-top bread bins are useful beneath cabinetry. Capacity and construction also differ considerably: compare steel for a classic bread-bin format, stainless steel for a modern finish, or the Emile Henry ceramic and bamboo design if you prefer a bread box with a multipurpose cutting lid.
