Emile Henry Bread Bakers:

Bread bakers in this collection are dedicated ceramic baking vessels from Emile Henry, with shapes designed for different styles of homemade bread. Rather than a general selection of loaf tins, the range focuses on covered ceramic bread bakers for round loaves, artisan breads, baguettes, mini baguettes and ciabatta, plus dedicated focaccia bakers. Colour options across the collection include Burgundy, Charcoal and Linen.

Ceramic Bread Bakers for Round & Artisan Loaves:

For traditional round homemade bread, the Emile Henry Round Bread Baker uses a refractory ceramic dome to create a humid baking environment. Its glazed platter has a criss-cross pattern designed to help prevent sticking. The 5.2L baker measures 32.5 x 29.5 x 14cm, providing a dedicated format for crusty round loaves.

The Artisan Bread Baker has a longer 36 x 24 x 16cm shape and 3.35L capacity. It can be used for classic sourdough as well as breads made with different flour types. Its ceramic construction is designed to retain humidity during baking, while the criss-crossed base helps reduce sticking. The lid can also be inverted into the base for more compact storage.

Baguette, Mini Baguette & Ciabatta Bakers:

Bread shape is a defining feature of this collection. Full-size baguette bakers provide a dedicated format for long French-style loaves, while separate mini-baguette bakers cater for smaller individual breads. The range also includes a specific Emile Henry ciabatta baker rather than requiring this flatter Italian-style bread to be adapted to a standard loaf vessel.

Focaccia Bakers:

For focaccia, dedicated Emile Henry bakers are available in both Burgundy and Charcoal. These provide another specialised format within a range built around matching the baking vessel to the style of bread being prepared.

Choosing a Bread Baker:

Start with the bread you make most often. Choose the Round Bread Baker for round loaves, the Artisan model for larger rustic and sourdough-style breads, or the dedicated baguette, mini-baguette, ciabatta or focaccia format for those specific shapes. Also compare dimensions and capacity against your oven space and typical dough quantity before selecting your baker.
