Bolt Cutters for Trade, Workshop & DIY Use:

Bolt cutters provide the leverage and hardened cutting edges needed for cutting metal materials such as bolts, chain, wire and cable. This collection spans compact 200mm mini bolt cutters through to heavy-duty models over 1000mm long, with options from Fuller, Fuller Pro, Teng, HIT, Truper, Seiki, Knipex and OX. Replacement bolt cutter jaws are also represented in the range.

Compact & Mini Bolt Cutters:

For smaller cutting tasks and situations where a full-length tool is unnecessary, the collection includes 200mm bolt cutters and compact models. The Teng 200mm mini bolt cutter, for example, uses chrome molybdenum steel with induction-hardened cutting edges, a return spring, locking function and rubber-dipped handles. Its specified capacities include up to 3.6mm piano wire, 4mm steel and 5.2mm iron.

Medium & Heavy-Duty Bolt Cutters:

The wider range covers popular lengths including 300mm, 350mm, 450mm, 600mm, 750mm and 900mm, plus HIT centre-cut models extending to 1050mm. Larger bolt cutters provide increased leverage for more demanding cutting work.

Several Teng models use compound-action mechanisms with hardened central cutting edges and a 30-degree cutting angle. The 350mm Teng model has a specified maximum cutting load of 54kg, while the 750mm version increases this to 85kg.

Centre Cut, Clipper Cut & High-Tensile Options:

Different jaw configurations are available for different requirements. The collection includes HIT centre-cut bolt cutters as well as a 300mm HIT clipper-cut model. HIT high-tensile centre-cut models use drop-forged high-tensile alloy tool steel with specially heat-treated precision cutting edges and are designed for cutting harder materials.

Choosing the Right Bolt Cutter:

Length alone should not determine your choice. Check the manufacturer’s stated cutting capacity and the type or hardness of material you intend to cut. Compact cutters suit smaller-diameter wire and metal, while longer tools provide greater leverage for heavier tasks. For selected models, replacement jaw sets and spare jaws are also included in the collection, allowing you to match replacement components to compatible bolt cutters.
