This bed base collection focuses on Makers upholstered mattress bases, including standard commercial bed bases, split configurations, drawer storage bases and replacement bed base covers. Makers Commercial Bed Bases:

Makers MII Commercial bed bases are designed as sturdy upholstered foundations for mattresses in residential and accommodation settings. Their flat-pack construction uses plywood slats, metal corner brackets and quick-click lug-and-slot assembly that requires no tools.

The bases feature padded black microsuede sides and a non-slip platform fabric on top to help keep the mattress in position. Wider Double, Queen and King models incorporate a metal support bar beneath the slats for additional support. Standard configurations use castor wheels at the head of the bed for easier movement and rigid glide legs at the foot for stability.

Split Bed Bases & Commercial Sizes:

The collection includes both standard New Zealand bed sizes and longer commercial formats such as Long Single and Long Double. King Split and Super King Split bases use joining brackets to connect the separate base sections, making them particularly relevant where a large assembled base would be difficult to manoeuvre.

Drawer Bed Bases for Extra Storage:

For bedrooms where storage is important, dark grey upholstered drawer bed bases provide built-in space for bedding, pillows, clothing and other items.
