Ashoka Indian Food, Ready Meals, Curry Pastes & Condiments:

The Ashoka range brings together convenient Indian ready meals, curry pastes and traditional condiments for preparing or serving Indian food at home. The collection covers several distinct styles of Indian cuisine, from lentil-based dals and vegetable biryani to cooking pastes, mixed pickle and sweet-tangy chutney.

Ashoka Ready-to-Eat Indian Meals:

For a quick meal, the range includes ready-to-eat Indian dishes such as Dal Tadka, Delhi Dal Makhani, Bombay Biryani and Matar Paneer (Tofu). These provide different options depending on the flavours and style of meal you prefer.

Dal Tadka combines lentils with Indian spices and can be paired with naan or rice. The mild Delhi Dal Makhani features black lentils and kidney beans in a creamy tomato sauce, while Bombay Biryani combines basmati rice, vegetables and aromatic spices in a 280g ready meal. The Matar Paneer (Tofu) option features green peas and tofu in a tomato-based sauce and is also designed to be served with rice, naan or chapatis.

Indian Curry Pastes for Home Cooking:

Ashoka curry pastes provide a convenient base when you want to prepare the main ingredients yourself. The collection includes a mild Butter Chicken Paste in a 300g jar for making the familiar rich, creamy curry, alongside a 300g Tandoori Paste with a medium spice level. The tandoori paste can be used to marinate chicken, lamb, fish or vegetables before cooking.

Ashoka Pickles & Chutney:

Indian condiments are also represented. Ashoka Mixed Pickle comes in a 500g jar and combines vegetables and spices with a mild, tangy flavour. It can accompany rice, roti and other dishes. The 340g Date & Tamarind Chutney balances tangy tamarind with the sweetness of dates and can be paired with Indian snacks and curries or used as a dipping sauce.

Choosing from the Ashoka range depends on how much preparation you want to do. Select a ready meal when convenience is the priority, a curry paste when cooking your own main ingredients, or pickle and chutney when you want a traditional Indian condiment to accompany the meal.
