Artist Pastels, Soft Pastels, Oil Pastels & Pastel Sets:

Artist pastels provide a direct, versatile way to build colour through drawing, blending, layering and shading. This extensive collection includes individual Art Spectrum soft pastels, Caran d’Ache Neopastels, Reeves Fine Artist Pastel packs, Mungyo pastel sets and PanPastel kits, covering everything from single replacement colours to coordinated sets for broader pastel work.

Art Spectrum Soft Pastels:

Art Spectrum soft pastels form a major part of the collection, with a wide palette of individual colours including blues, greens, reds, yellows, earth tones, greys, whites and blacks. Shades represented include Ultra Blue, Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green, Poppy Red, Permanent Rose, Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Raw Umber, Raw Sienna, Warm Grey and Lamp Black.

The range also includes Extra Soft Art Spectrum pastels in colours such as Cool White, Lemon Yellow, Yellow Green, Ultra Blue, Phthalo Green, Phthalo Blue, Special Orange and Cool Grey. Art Spectrum soft pastels use concentrated pigments that are triple milled to produce pure, brilliant colour.

Caran d’Ache Neopastels & Reeves Pastels:

Caran d’Ache Neopastels provide another pastel format, with individual colours supplied in sets of three. Colours represented include Sapphire Blue, Sky Blue, Blue Jeans and Ivory Black.

Reeves Fine Artist Pastels are available in compact four-piece colour groups, including Stone Tones, Light Earth Tones, Dark Earth Tones, White, Black and Monochrome. These grouped sets are useful when you need several related shades rather than one individual colour.

Mungyo & PanPastel Sets:

For a broader ready-made palette, Mungyo pastel sets include 32-piece and larger options, including the MP48 set with 46 brilliant colours. The Mungyo pastels are made from quality pigments and raw materials and have a soft texture suited to blending and layering.

The collection also includes specialist PanPastel kits, including a Portrait Starter Kit.

Choosing Artist Pastels:

Choose individual soft pastels when replacing a frequently used colour or building a customised palette. Tonal Reeves packs provide coordinated shades for more focused colour work, while larger Mungyo sets offer greater variety in one purchase. Consider Extra Soft pastels when a softer formulation is preferred, or explore Neopastel and PanPastel options when you want a different pastel format or working technique.
