Aquarium Backgrounds for Fish Tanks:

Aquarium backgrounds provide a simple way to change the appearance of a fish tank while helping conceal equipment, cables and the wall behind the aquarium. This collection is focused on printed aquatic backgrounds in natural, planted, rock, seascape and plain colour designs, with both precut backdrops and longer rolls for different tank sizes and applications.

Double-Sided Aquarium Backgrounds:

The range includes double-sided backgrounds, giving you two contrasting scenes within one backdrop. Design combinations represented include Aquawild/Slateways, River Rock/Sea of Green, Seascape/Natural Mystic, Deep Flora/Desert Dream, Deepsea Blue/Midnight Black and Greenspike/Amazonia.

This makes it possible to choose anything from planted and natural-looking scenery to rock effects, underwater imagery or a simple dark background. A darker backdrop such as Midnight Black can provide a very different visual result from the greener Amazonia or Sea of Green designs without changing the aquarium itself.

Precut Fish Tank Backgrounds:

Precut aquarium backgrounds are available in several lengths. The collection includes compact 30 x 60cm backgrounds as well as 90cm and 120cm options in selected designs. These are useful when you want a ready-sized aquarium backdrop rather than cutting material from a larger roll.

For best results, selected precut backgrounds recommend using Seaview Mounting Gel when attaching the background to the aquarium.

Aquarium Background Rolls:

For larger tanks or situations where material needs to be cut to a specific length, the collection also includes Seaview Brilliant Background rolls. Selected Aquawild/Slateways, Aqua Garden/Bright Stone and Seascape/Natural Mystic designs come in 60cm-wide, 15m rolls, while Deepsea Blue/Midnight Black is represented in a 45cm roll format.

Choosing an Aquarium Background:

Measure the rear glass of your aquarium before selecting a size, checking both height and width. Then consider the visual effect you want. Planted and rock imagery can complement natural aquascaping, while blue or black backgrounds provide a simpler appearance behind fish, plants and decorations.

Because many options are double-sided, check both designs when comparing aquarium backgrounds—you may find that one product gives you two suitable looks for future tank changes.
