Anglers Mate fishing gear covers practical equipment for shore fishing, boat fishing, fish preparation, berleying and crayfishing. The Smartfox range includes rod spikes, tackle boxes, bait and filleting tools, berley equipment, waders, nets, a crayfish pot and other fishing accessories designed for specific tasks before, during and after a fishing trip.

Fishing Rod Holders, Tackle Boxes & Landing Gear:

For surf fishing, Anglers Mate galvanised rod spikes provide a straightforward way to support a fishing rod, with 800mm and 1200mm lengths represented in the collection. Fishing tackle can be organised in one, two or three-tray tackle boxes, allowing you to choose the amount of compartmentalised storage required for your setup.

The range also includes a 600mm alloy gaff and a multi-purpose kids, butterfly and live bait net.

Berley Equipment & Crayfishing Gear:

Anglers using berley can choose from 3kg berley pellets, a mesh berley bag and a plastic berley cage kit supplied with pellets. The plastic cage measures 34 x 14cm and can be used with frozen or dry berley.

For crayfishing, the collection includes a folding round crayfish pot designed to comply with New Zealand requirements for escape hatches and entry points. It has a 740mm bottom ring, 630mm top ring and folds flat for storage. Anglers Mate fish oil is also available in a 500ml bottle.

Fish Preparation Tools:

For preparing a catch, the range includes a bait knife with sheath, fish scaler and 12-inch diamond sharpening steel. The Anglers Mate filleting set combines a 630 x 170 x 7mm cutting board with a serrated stainless steel fish clamp, 6-inch stainless steel fillet knife and stainless steel fish descaler.

Fishing Waders & Practical Gear:

Anglers Mate waders provide protection for activities where staying dry is important, including angling, launching a boat, floundering and netting. Boot sizes represented in the range include medium 8–10 and extra-large 12–13.
