3M Safety Helmets, Hard Hats & Head Protection:

3M safety helmets provide protective headwear for industrial, construction and work-at-height applications. This collection centres on 3M head protection, including SecureFit X5000 safety helmets, traditional ABS safety helmets and accessories. It also includes safety helmet storage and mandatory “Safety Helmet Must Be Worn” signage for workplace safety areas.

3M SecureFit X5000 Safety Helmets:

The SecureFit X5000 range has a climbing helmet-inspired design for working at heights and other industrial environments. Vented models are represented in colours including white, green, red, black, orange and blue, alongside a non-vented X5000 option.

SecureFit X5000 helmets use a six-point ratchet suspension with 3M Pressure Diffusion Technology and provide 15 adjustment settings for fitting. They are supplied with a chinstrap, while the four-point chinstrap selector system allows configuration between EN 12492 and EN 397 requirements. A UVicator sensor provides a visual indication relating to UV exposure.

The X5000 range is also designed for integration with compatible 3M protective equipment, including faceshields and earmuffs.

3M ABS Safety Helmets:

For more traditional industrial head protection, the collection includes 3M HH40 and HC600V ABS safety helmets. The white HH40 is a non-vented Type 1 helmet with a 50mm full brim, six-point webbing harness and adjustable headband. It is certified to AS/NZS 1801:1997 and includes reflective tape for improved visibility in low-light conditions. Applications listed for the HH40 include mining, construction, transport, forestry and heavy engineering.

Safety Helmet Accessories & Mandatory Signs:

Supporting products include a 3M P3E safety helmet adapter for visors and an APEX safety helmet bag. Workplace signage is also represented, with “Safety Helmet Must Be Worn” signs in several formats and sizes, including 180 x 250mm, 225 x 300mm, 300 x 450mm and 450 x 600mm options.

Choosing the Right Safety Helmet:

Consider the work environment first, particularly whether you require a vented or non-vented helmet, a full-brim design or a SecureFit model suited to work at height. Check the individual helmet’s applicable safety standards, adjustment system and accessory compatibility before selecting head protection for a particular workplace or task.
