It covers the safe operation of a compressed air breathing apparatus system including the practical elements of preparing, testing, commissioning, wearing and monitoring the systems, as well as the implementation of emergency procedures.
Unit standard 25044 Wear and operate compressed air breathing apparatus in the workplace - level 3, credits 4.
This is a group course delivered at your site (or ours) and it can be tailored to suit your specific requirements.
We recommend refresher training at least every two years.
Your own BA equipment is required for this training, please make sure it is within its testing period.
