This public course lasts for two days, with a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 10. On-site training options are also available (code HT2). Trainees will learn about characteristics of equipment and anchorage points, hazards associated with fall arrest systems, maintaining equipment, knots and gain an understanding of rescue techniques that could be used on-site.
This course includes NZQA unit standards:
23229 Use a safety harness system when working at height (prerequisite for unit standard 15757) - level 3, credits 4.
15757 Use, install and disestablish proprietary height safety systems when working at height - level 3, credits 4.
