Artist Canvas - Das Exhibition 1.5 Canvas 6x8(Inches)

$11.01 $12.95
Elevate your artistic expression with the Das Exhibition 1.5 Canvas, measuring 6x8 inches. This high-quality artist canvas is meticulously crafted from premium materials, ensuring durability and a stable structure for all your painting techniques. Made from 100% natural long-fibre cotton, the canvas features a medium grain texture that enhances your artwork, providing the perfect foundation for oil, acrylic, or mixed media applications.

The Das canvas is woven with double warp yarns and single weft yarns, offering unmatched strength and resilience. Unlike other canvases, it is not rinsed with alkaline substances, preserving its natural tone and flexibility—essential qualities for artists who demand the best. Additionally, the wooden frame is constructed from warp-resistant timber, which undergoes a specialized six-month natural seasoning process, followed by soaking, degreasing, and kiln drying to ensure long-lasting support.

With the surface primed three times using an acid-free acrylic ground (acrylic gesso), this canvas is ready for a variety of painting styles, ensuring your paints adhere beautifully while maintaining their vibrancy. The proper canvas preparation guarantees your artwork will withstand the test of time. Choose the Das Exhibition 1.5 Canvas for an economically priced, premium solution for all your artistic creations and make your next masterpiece shine.

Artist Canvas - Das Exhibition 1.5 Canvas 6x8
das canvases are manufactured using the finest materials available to create an economically priced product. They have been developed to ensure
a stable structure with a medium weight, medium grain canvas to meet the needs of many different painting techniques.
das canvas is manufactured using a 1% natural long fibre cotton, woven with double warp yarns and single weft yarns. The strength of the
canvas is based on the yarn thickness, closeness of construction and fibre quality. It is not rinsed with alkaline which helps maintain its natural
tone and flexibility.
The wooden frame is constructed using a warp resistant timber which has been stored for six months under natural conditions. The wood is then
soaked, degreased and kiln dried to ensure the firm structure of the frame.
The fabric is primed three times with an acid free acrylic ground (known as acrylic gesso). This seals and protects the canvas creating a
receptive surface for the paint to adhere to. The proper size ground and primer are essential for achieving a long lasting painting. "A painting is
done on the primer that has been applied to the canvas". Paint absorbs into the primer, not the canvas fibres. For additional luminosity, it is
recommended applying additional primer compatible with the paint you intend to use.
