Panel liners are used to highlight volumes and define the different fuselage plates, panels, and details on aeroplanes, tanks, trains, cars, ships, robots, and more. All models share the common feature of structures and details outlined by lines, either raised or recessed. To achieve greater realism and visual richness, these structural details should be enhanced after painting to add depth and visual contrast.

AK Interactive’s precision panel liners are enamel-based and designed to flow cleanly through surface recesses by capillary action, without staining or spreading across unwanted areas. Unlike acrylic products, the enamel formula eliminates surface tension, resulting in smooth and predictable flow along panel lines and structural joins.

Each bottle includes a precision brush with longer, fewer fibres than a typical brush, allowing for a higher paint load and clean application in a single pass. The Raw Umber Greenish tone is particularly suited for military vehicles, diorama elements, and earth-toned surfaces. It offers a subtle, natural-looking contrast that enhances shadow definition while maintaining a weathered, realistic finish.
