Gumboots for Work, Farming, Forestry & Everyday Wet Weather:

Gumboots provide waterproof footwear for work, farming, outdoor activities and everyday wet conditions. This is an extensive collection with more than 500 listings across men’s, women’s, youth and children’s sizes. Skellerup is strongly represented through Red Band, Quatro, Ashley, 4X4 and Schoen Forestry ranges, alongside Bata footwear including colourful Bubblegummers for kids.

Work & Safety Gumboots:

The collection includes both non-safety gumboots and specialised safety footwear. Skellerup Red Band options span traditional men’s and women’s/youth gumboots as well as safety knee styles, while the Quatro range includes models designed for different working conditions.

Specialist options extend to Quatro Dielectric safety gumboots and Schoen Forestry boots. Selected Schoen Forestry models are fully waterproof, hand-built rubber boots with steel toe caps, Kevlar protection panels and Level 3 chainsaw protection. Their rubber soles are specified as resistant to slip, oil, acid and chemicals, with selected models also featuring spikes for forestry applications.

Insulated & Cold-Weather Gumboots:

For colder working environments, selected Skellerup Quatro gumboots incorporate additional insulation. The Quatro Comfort Plus features a 330mm calf height, fleece-lined full bootie with 4mm CR foam insulation and an expandable side gusset with adjustable strap. Its thermal construction is rated down to -50°C.

Kids’ & Junior Gumboots:

Children’s options include Skellerup Red Band Junior gumboots and Bata Bubblegummers. Bubblegummers are made from waterproof PVC with tough PVC soles, lightweight polyester linings and colourful designs. Selected models also feature a pre-stamped line allowing the boot height to be trimmed.

Choosing the Right Gumboots:

Start with the intended use. General wet-weather wear may only require a non-safety waterproof gumboot, while farm, industrial, electrical or forestry work can require specific protective features and certifications.

Check sizing carefully, particularly as Skellerup footwear uses UK sizing. Also compare boot height, safety toe requirements, sole properties, insulation and fit features such as adjustable gussets. For specialist work, confirm that the individual gumboot’s stated safety standard and protection level match the requirements of the job.
