Exit Signs

Exit Signs – Emergency Exit, Fire Exit and Luminescent Safety Signs:

Exit signs help identify escape routes, emergency exits and safe directions of travel in workplaces, commercial buildings and public facilities. The Smartfox NZ collection includes emergency exit signs, fire exit signs, running man directional signs, photoluminescent signage and mounting accessories. Options from Ecoglo, HY-KO and Safety Genius cover different sizes, symbols and installation requirements.

Emergency Exit and Fire Exit Signs:

The collection includes standard EXIT and FIRE EXIT signs, alongside larger emergency exit signs for identifying designated escape routes.

Single-sided signs are represented in sizes including 200 x 130mm, 360 x 220mm and 630 x 300mm. Selected rigid plastic signs use 1.6mm polypropylene and include specifications referencing AS/NZS 1319:1994.

HY-KO exit and fire exit signs provide further options, while selected EXIT and FIRE EXIT designs are offered in sets of six or twelve.

Running Man Exit Signs and Directional Arrows:

Running man safety signs use a recognisable emergency exit symbol to indicate evacuation routes.

The range includes running man signs with left-facing and right-facing arrows, plus separate directional arrow signs. Sizes include 240 x 130mm, 320 x 170mm and 420 x 220mm.

Choosing the correct arrow direction is important when marking corridors, stairways, doorways and changes in evacuation direction.

Luminescent Exit Signs:

Ecoglo and other luminescent exit signs form an important part of this collection. These photoluminescent signs are designed to remain visible after absorbing light, without requiring an electrical connection.

Options include running man symbols, EXIT lettering and left or right directional arrows. Sizes include 290 x 162mm, 420 x 230mm and larger 610 x 280mm emergency exit signs.

Emergency Assembly Point and Safety Signs:

The collection also includes emergency assembly point signs, emergency stop signs, NO EXIT signs and KEEP CLEAR AT ALL TIMES notices.

These provide complementary signage for identifying designated assembly areas, preventing access through unsuitable exits and communicating emergency safety instructions.

Exit Sign Mounting Accessories:

Ecoglo mounting accessories include ceiling mount brackets and flag mount brackets in sizes suited to selected exit signs.

These accessories support different installation arrangements where conventional wall mounting may not provide the required visibility.

Choosing the Right Exit Sign:

Consider the sign's purpose, viewing distance, dimensions, directional symbol and mounting position.

Check individual product specifications for materials, luminescent properties and applicable standards. For workplace or commercial installations, confirm the selected signage meets relevant New Zealand building, fire safety and evacuation requirements.

Choose the correct sign orientation and mounting accessories to ensure exit routes are clearly identified.
