Elevate your artistic creations with Matisse and Derivan Acrylic Mediums - MATISSE MM28 1LTR Polymer Satin Varnish, the perfect choice for artists seeking a refined satin finish for their acrylic paintings. This high-quality acrylic varnish offers excellent durability and protection, making it ideal for your finished artworks. Unlike traditional turps-based options, our polymer water-based varnish is specially formulated to be user-friendly and safe to use indoors. When applied, it may appear slightly hazy, but rest assured, this optical effect vanishes once dry, revealing a beautiful satin sheen that enhances your artwork's vibrancy. Designed for application over well-cured acrylic paint, MM28 is perfect for painters who desire a mid-level sheen without compromising the painting's integrity. Remember to dilute the varnish with water before application to achieve an even finish. On hot days, avoid thick applications to prevent moisture trapping and maintain that pristine look. Give your paintings the protection they deserve while adding a touch of professional polish with Matisse MM28 Polymer Satin Varnish. Ideal for professional artists and hobbyists alike, this varnish will ensure your creations are showcased perfectly for years to come.
MM28 Polymer Satin Varnish is used as a final varnish over a dried, well-curedacrylic painting when a satin or very mid level sheen is required (and the use of MM29 Satin Varnish(turps-based) is not appropriate).Polymer water-based varnishes may appear to be slightly hazy whilst in solution. This is an optical effect producedby light refraction of acrylic particles suspended within the water-based medium. The effect disappears when the film is dry. As acrylics dry very rapidly, care should be taken to apply varnish pre-diluted with water. Polymer Varnish, applied in very thick layers on a hot day, could trap moisture, resulting in a cloudy film which would be very difficult to correct.
