DAS Exhibition Canvas for Painting & Art Projects:

DAS Exhibition canvas offers stretched artist canvases in a wide choice of proportions and sizes, from narrow 4 x 12 inch formats through to large 40 x 40 inch surfaces. The collection centres on DAS Exhibition 1.5 inch deep canvases and also includes black Exhibition canvases, Professional heavy-duty canvases, Studio canvases and rigid canvas panels for artists who want different painting surfaces and frame depths.

DAS Exhibition 1.5 Inch Deep Canvas:

The Exhibition range features 1.5 inch deep stretched canvases in square, portrait and landscape-friendly dimensions. Sizes represented include 16 x 20, 20 x 30, 22 x 30, 24 x 30, 24 x 36, 30 x 40 and 40 x 40 inches, as well as narrower formats such as 4 x 12 inches.

Selected DAS Exhibition canvases use natural long-fibre cotton with a medium-weight, medium-grain surface. The canvas is primed three times with an acid-free acrylic ground, creating a prepared painting surface, while the fabric is stretched over a timber frame.

Black Exhibition Canvas:

For artists wanting a dark starting surface, the collection includes DAS Exhibition Black 1.5 inch canvases. Square 12 x 12 and 15 x 15 inch options are represented, along with an 8 x 16 inch deep black canvas. These provide an alternative to conventional light-coloured prepared canvas when the artwork calls for a black ground.

Professional, Studio & Canvas Panel Options:

The wider range also includes DAS Professional 1.5 inch Heavy Duty canvases in larger sizes such as 20 x 20, 24 x 36, 30 x 30, 30 x 40 and 36 x 48 inches. DAS Studio 3/4 inch canvases provide a shallower stretched format, while canvas panels offer a rigid painting surface in sizes from compact 4 x 4 and 4 x 6 inch panels through to 18 x 24 and 20 x 30 inches.

Choosing a DAS Artist Canvas:

Choose first by surface format and depth. A 1.5 inch Exhibition canvas suits artists wanting a deeper stretched profile, Studio 3/4 inch canvases provide a slimmer alternative, and canvas panels work well when a flat rigid surface is preferred. Then select the proportions and dimensions that best suit the composition you intend to paint.
