Cook’s Knives for Everyday & Professional Food Preparation:

A cook’s knife is one of the most versatile cutting tools in the kitchen, suited to everyday tasks such as chopping vegetables, slicing meat, dicing ingredients and mincing herbs. This collection includes more than 60 cook’s and cook’s-carving knives, with blade lengths ranging from compact 10–13cm options through to substantial 29cm and 31cm knives.

Cook’s Knives from Victorinox, Global, Zwilling & More:

Victorinox forms a significant part of the range, with cook’s-carving knives across the Classic, Fibrox, Dual Grip and wood-handled ranges. Blade configurations include standard, wide and extra-wide profiles, as well as fluted and wavy-edge designs. Fibrox knives are available in several handle colours, including black, red, blue, green, yellow and white.

The collection also includes Japanese-made Global cook’s knives from the Classic, Sai, NI, Oriental and Global Z ranges. Sizes span compact 10cm and 13cm knives through to 19cm, 20cm and 25cm models, with selected Global knives featuring fluted blades. Other brands represented include Zwilling, Tramontina, Kamati, Scanpan, Furi and Di Antonio.

Blade Sizes, Materials & Knife Sets:

Stainless steel blades feature extensively throughout the range. Global models include knives made from CROMOVA 18 stainless steel, while the Global Sai 25cm cook’s knife uses three-layer CROMOVA 18 SANSO stainless steel. Furi Pro cook’s knives use stainless steel construction, and Scanpan Classic Forged provides another forged knife option.

Alongside individual cook’s knives, the collection includes sets such as a two-piece stainless steel cook’s knife set, Global three-piece knife sets and a Global Classic cook’s knife and sharpener set.

Choosing the Right Cook’s Knife:

For general kitchen preparation, consider a mid-sized blade around 18–20cm, while shorter 10–16cm knives can offer greater manoeuvrability for smaller ingredients and detailed preparation. Longer 24–31cm knives provide additional cutting length for larger foods and carving tasks.

Also compare blade profile, handle material and grip style. Wide blades provide a different cutting surface from slimmer profiles, while fluted blades are another option represented in the range. Handle choices include Fibrox, synthetic and wood, allowing you to select a cook’s knife that suits both your preferred grip and preparation style.
