Binding Combs for Professional Document Binding:

Binding combs provide a practical way to organise loose pages into neatly bound reports, presentations, manuals and other documents. Our collection includes plastic binding combs and wire binding combs from Fellowes and GBC, with a wide selection of diameters, colours and pack quantities for different document binding requirements.

Whether you are preparing a short presentation or assembling a substantial reference manual, selecting the correct binding spine helps ensure your finished document is secure, easy to handle and neatly presented.

Plastic Binding Combs - Fellowes and GBC:

Our plastic comb binding range includes sizes from 6mm to 51mm, offering options for both smaller documents and thicker collections of pages.

GBC plastic binding combs can be reopened to insert or remove pages, making them particularly useful for documents that require occasional updates. They also allow bound documents to lie flat when pages are turned.

Fellowes plastic binding combs are designed for use with 21-loop plastic comb binding machines. For example, the 16mm Fellowes comb accommodates approximately 101–120 pages.

Choose from black, white, blue and selected red binding combs to suit your document presentation or colour-coding requirements.

Wire Binding Combs for Reports and Presentations:

The collection also includes Fellowes wire binding combs in 6mm, 8mm, 11mm, 12mm and 14mm sizes.

These black wire binding spines provide an alternative to plastic combs for documents requiring a different binding finish.

Fellowes wire combs are designed for compatible 34-loop wire binding machines. The 11mm and 12mm options are specified for documents containing approximately 81–100 pages.

Choosing the Right Binding Comb Size:

Three factors are particularly important when selecting document binding combs: diameter, binding machine compatibility and pack quantity.

Smaller diameters are suited to thinner documents, while larger plastic combs accommodate more pages. Always check the recommended page capacity of the individual product rather than relying on diameter alone.

Plastic and wire binding systems use different loop configurations, so confirm whether your machine requires 21-loop plastic combs or 34-loop wire binding spines before purchasing.

Binding Combs in Packs of 20, 25, 50 and 100:

Our Fellowes and GBC binding supplies include different pack quantities to accommodate occasional document binding and regular office use.

Smaller packs are useful when preparing limited numbers of documents, while packs of 50 or 100 provide a practical option for offices, schools and workplaces with frequent binding requirements.

Compare binding comb sizes, colours and materials to find the appropriate document binding supplies for your machine and intended page count.
