The Sutton Cobalt Jobber Drill is an industrial quality bit for drilling materials that have high hardness and tensile strength such as cast iron, bronze, hardened steel & stainless steel. Cobalt high-speed steel heavy-duty drills are harder than standard high speed steel and are designed for drilling tough materials such as stainless steel. These drills will retain their strength and hardness at high temperatures and have high abrasion resistance.
The 5% cobalt formula improves abrasive & heat resistance, for increased strength at higher drilling temperatures.
