Cutting Boards & Chopping Boards for Everyday Food Preparation:

This cutting board collection covers a wide range of surfaces for chopping, slicing, carving and serving, with materials including timber, bamboo, polypropylene, paper composite and marble. Brands represented include Epicurean, Peer Sorensen, OXO Good Grips, Joseph Joseph, TEAKHAUS and Chef’n, with compact everyday boards through to larger carving and food-preparation surfaces.

Wooden, Bamboo & Teak Cutting Boards:

Natural materials form an important part of the range. Bamboo chopping boards are available in practical sizes such as 32 x 45cm, while Peer Sorensen offers timber boards including long-grain and mango wood designs. TEAKHAUS adds teak cutting boards in several formats, including boards suitable for both food preparation and presentation.

Selected Joseph Joseph designs also use bamboo, including the Cut & Carve Bamboo board. Wooden and bamboo boards require different care from dishwasher-safe synthetic surfaces, so consider maintenance as well as size when choosing.

Epicurean Cutting Boards:

Epicurean provides a substantial selection of paper-composite cutting boards in natural and slate finishes. Kitchen, Gourmet and All-in-One ranges are represented in different dimensions and thicknesses.

The All-in-One boards feature reversible surfaces, with a juice groove on one side and a larger flat chopping area on the other. Non-slip silicone feet provide stability, while the paper-composite construction is dishwasher safe and does not require the maintenance associated with traditional wooden boards.

Non-Slip & Carving Boards:

OXO Good Grips boards provide another low-maintenance option. Their non-porous polypropylene surfaces are double-sided, with non-slip feet, comfortable tapered edges and integrated drip catchers. The larger Carving and Cutting Board includes a grooved side for carving meat and a solid side for fruit and vegetable preparation.

The collection also includes more specialised designs, such as the Chef’n Prep’n Catch bamboo board with a removable collapsible food collector, plus a smooth marble chopping board that can double as a serving platter.

Choosing the Right Cutting Board:

Consider material, dimensions and the foods you prepare most often. Choose a larger grooved board for carving and handling juicy ingredients, a compact board for everyday chopping, or a reversible design for greater versatility. If easy cleaning is a priority, compare the dishwasher-safe Epicurean and OXO options; if you prefer natural timber, look at bamboo, mango wood and teak boards and follow the recommended care instructions.
