Description

The secret to making crispy bread is how it is baked: at high humidity levels, carefully adjusted according to the volume of dough being baked. Emile Henry bread bakers recreate the conditions found in a traditional bread oven, at just the right level of humidity. They ensure your homemade bread comes out baked to perfection, light and airy inside, with a golden, crispy crust.

Ciabatta is a classic Italian bread made from a lean and very runny dough which gives it a unique moist texture, chewy inside and one-of-a-kind flavour.

The lid traps steam during baking to replicate the environment of a steam-injected oven.

This steam allows the bread to expand fully, and also creates a crisp, crunchy crust.

Suitable for 31/2 - 4 cup flour recipe. Makes two 37.4cm loaves up to 250g each.

Care Instructions:

Allow to cool down completely before cleaning.

Do not pour cold water onto a hot dish or it may break from the thermal shock.

Dishwasher safe but we recommend washing by hand.

For stubborn residue, soak in hot water and white vinegar before placing in the dishwasher.
