WeldSkill 70S-6 is a copper coated, low carbon steel filler rod suitable for the oxy-acetylene (fusion) welding and Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG) welding of a wide range of mild and medium strength steels. WeldSkill 70S-6 is recommended for the TIG welding of steel pipes, plates and castings with a tensile strength in the 500 MPa class. It is tolerant to surface rust and mill scale and is ideal for root pass welding applications where tough and ductile welds are produced.
