$27.16 $31.95
Introducing the Das Exhibition Black 1.5 Canvas in a versatile 12x24 inches, perfect for artists seeking high-quality canvas at an affordable price. At Smartfox NZ, we provide you with the finest canvases designed for durability and optimal painting performance. The Das Exhibition canvas is crafted from premium 1% natural long fiber cotton, expertly woven with double warp and single weft yarns, ensuring a robust structure suitable for various painting techniques—from acrylic to oil paint. Its medium weight and medium grain texture create a seamless surface that enhances your artwork's vibrancy and detail.

Built to last, the canvas is mounted on a sturdy, warp-resistant wooden frame made from timber that has been seasoned for six months. This process guarantees a solid foundation for your art. Each canvas is primed with acid-free acrylic ground, known as acrylic gesso, applied three times to create a perfect, receptive surface for paint adhesion. This primer seals and protects the canvas, ensuring longevity and luminosity in your paintings.

Whether you are a professional artist or a passionate hobbyist, the Das Exhibition Black Canvas is an essential addition to your art supplies. Elevate your creative expression with this premium canvas that combines quality, stability, and affordability. Shop now at Smartfox NZ for this superior canvas and unleash your artistic potential!

Das Exhibition Black 1.5 Canvas 12x24
das canvases are manufactured using the finest materials available to create an economically priced product. They have been developed to ensure
a stable structure with a medium weight, medium grain canvas to meet the needs of many different painting techniques.
das canvas is manufactured using a 1% natural long fibre cotton, woven with double warp yarns and single weft yarns. The strength of the
canvas is based on the yarn thickness, closeness of construction and fibre quality. It is not rinsed with alkaline which helps maintain its natural
tone and flexibility.
The wooden frame is constructed using a warp resistant timber which has been stored for six months under natural conditions. The wood is then
soaked, degreased and kiln dried to ensure the firm structure of the frame.
The fabric is primed three times with an acid free acrylic ground (known as acrylic gesso). This seals and protects the canvas creating a
receptive surface for the paint to adhere to. The proper size ground and primer are essential for achieving a long lasting painting. "A painting is
done on the primer that has been applied to the canvas". Paint absorbs into the primer, not the canvas fibres. For additional luminosity, it is
recommended applying additional primer compatible with the paint you intend to use.
